Who We Are
Naala Djookan Healing Centre seeks to simplify access for women affected by family and domestic violence by providing trauma informed therapeutic services. We offer a range of integrated and evidence-based services in one safe, inclusive, culturally responsive and welcoming location.
At Naala Djookan we provide a range of healing programs and practical support services. These include workshops and information sessions that allow people to connect with themselves and others.
We run weekly programs and activities to support women and their children who are affected by family and domestic violence. Our timetable is updated quarterly. Registration is essential.
Who Do We Help?
Naala Djookan walks alongside women and their families who are rebuilding their life as a result of experiencing family and domestic violence. We play a key role in the community, providing therapeutic support throughout the healing journey. We respect and welcome people from all cultures in our community. We also aim to inform the community and raise awareness about family and domestic violence and where they can go for assistance if they have concerns.
If you are seeking assistance, please feel free to get in contact with us to find out more about how we could help you.
Naala Djookan is not a crisis centre and is unable to provide crisis support, however, we can assist individuals to access appropriate crisis support services.
